Help every jobseeker show what they can do

Employability providers, colleges and charities work with people who can be overlooked by traditional hiring - career changers, returners, and people whose first language isn't English. BeCareers gives each of them a structured conversation about the jobs they want, in their own language, and gives your advisers the transcript.

Every candidate deserves an equal opportunity

That is why BeCareers exists. For the people you support, a CV is often the weakest part of their application. A conversation can give a fuller picture than a CV alone.

For your advisers

Know each person faster

A structured screening conversation against the requirements of a real job - availability, experience, licences, travel - with a transcript and summary your advisers can work from.

For jobseekers

Their language, their time

100+ languages, at any time of day. People can answer in the language they are most confident in, and your team reads everything in English.

For employers you work with

Screened, ready candidates

Export candidates who have been screened against the employer's must-haves, and refer them in line with your data-sharing arrangements.

How it could work

  1. Pick the roles. Set up screening for the vacancies you are filling with local employers, with their must-haves.
  2. Jobseekers complete a short screen. In their own language, when it suits them.
  3. Advisers review. Transcripts and summaries help advisers see who may be ready now and who needs support first - a licence, a certificate, interview practice.
  4. Refer with evidence. Refer screened candidates to employers, in line with your data-sharing arrangements.

People make every decision. Screening uses only what the jobseeker shares - no social media - and data is hosted in the UK. Jobseekers never pay; BeCareers is paid by the organisation using it. See our guide for candidates.

Our jobs board, GetMeHired.uk, is free for candidates.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. BeCareers is paid by the organisation using it. It is free for jobseekers.
In most set-ups the organisation using BeCareers is the controller and BeCareers is its processor, under our Data Processing Agreement. If you screen for an employer's vacancy or deliver a commissioned programme, the employer or commissioner may also be a controller - your DPIA should confirm the roles. We can share ours.
